part E

also known as party, par-tay, celebration, good times

I thought I'd take the time to throw together some of the fondest memories from past events. Welcome to Part E.

One of my earlier pictures in the pre-laptop (and even pre-mixer! GASP) days. I have no idea how many extra hours I spent hooking all the desktop components together. I did all of my announcements via the headset mic you see there and hooked the amp straight into the computer! Ahhh...those were the good ole' days :-)

Delta Omicron Pi Rush Dinner Spring 2005 - We jammed out to some awesome Latin music at this, one of my first gigs.

I may have been crammed in the corner, but the music still ROCKED!

Well on second thought, being stuffed in that corner wasn't so bad after all ;-).

Back in those days, I went by a different name - DJ Antoine Adept. Even my cousin had a challenge fitting that whole name in this awesome graphic logo he created. Hit me up if you want to get a hold of some of his other works of art.  He is also trained in 3D modeling and computer animation.

A beautiful view of Elizabeth Brown Park in Wytheville, VA from the stage. Working with Mt. Rogers Community Services Board has been the highlight of my career; working for the mentally ill and handicapped has given me an incredible appreciation for the gifts many of us take for granted.

Still at Elizabeth Brown Park, a few of the event staffers show how they couldn't keep their hands off and voices away from the mic! It was a great time with some great weather and fun karaoke memories!

Lights ablaze on the dancefloor at Theta Chi Epsilon/Delta Omicron Pi's Bid Turn In Spring 2005

I performed at ABX's Airband later in Spring 2005 which had over 150 attendees and dozens of performers

The Pi Kapps showin' their stuff at Airband.

 Tha D-Ro's ain't nothing ta F*(K wit

 When is karaoke not fun?

Dance Dance Revolution Contest anyone?

ABX again put on a great show this year

I captured this shot as the K Phi's were on stage.  The subs were hitting so hard, the police caution tape attached at the top of the speaker got sucked in and was doing its own dance.  Now that's bass

Beautiful!

DJ Skriff behind the scenes setting levels before Family Fun Day

The setup, I believe at E&H Spring Formals.

Now Family Fun Day's in full swing - here's Skriff keepin the music clean and of course, fun

We all scream for ice cream (especially when it's made by liquid nitrogen!)

The End of Greek Week Concert

Rockin the goggles - beer goggles that is

Awesome show!  Fair Lawn (from Radford) put on a great show that night as VBP's towers of power filled in the gap their PA system had outdoors.

Another event for the Mt. Rogers CSB entitled "A Night in Paris"  There's an Eiffel Tower in there somewhere, I promise :-)

Ahhh, "Club Bice".  Fun times were had up at UVA's summer research program by all.  This was a pirate-themed party

Even with nightvision, it's easy to tell Club Bice attendees had a great time.

Goin' Hyphy in Club Bice

Skriff cleaned up, but we don't know what for - The background's missing!

Theta Chi 3rd Annual Epsilon's Chili Cookoff!  Where the only thing hotter than the music was Willy's Chili.

Another shot from the DJ's point of view at the Chili Cookoff - I'm thirsty just looking at those bowls

Tailgating at Homecoming 2006!  DJ Skriff rockin it out fully mobile

The setup at the Class of '81 Homecoming Party - the Greenway Haven house is a really cool venue

The Mt. Roger CSB's Annual Faculty and Staff Reception - first a silent auction, then a PARTY!

Betcha know what season this is! (We know Jason here is happy to celebrate)

Costume party at the E&H Deli - here's Skriff the mad scientist!

Did someone say afterparty?
